An Introduction to The Sandbox

Welcome to The Sandbox.

A space where my work begins long before it becomes something finished. This space holds the drafts that wander, the ideas that stall, the fragments that never find a home, and the quiet notes that shape the writing and photography you eventually see publicly. It’s a place for the unpolished, the uncertain, the half‑formed, the parts of the creative process that rarely get shared because they’re still learning what they want to be.

I’ve always believed that the interior world is where the real work happens. Not the final essay, not the edited photograph, not the polished thought, but the creative, private movement underneath. The Sandbox is where that movement lives. Some entries will be small. Some will be messy. Some will be nothing more than a sentence or a question I’m trying to understand. But all of it is honest.

You’re welcome to read these pieces slowly, casually, or with curiosity. There’s no structure here, no expectation, no performance; it's just the process, shared in real time.
