Notice One Honest Moment
Share
This month’s practice is simple:
Notice one honest moment in your life. A moment where something felt clear, unperformed, or inherently true. It doesn’t need to be profound. It doesn’t need to be emotional. It doesn’t need to be something you “learned.” Just one moment where you recognized something real about yourself, your environment, or the way you move through the world.
Honest moments are small. They happen in the middle of errands, conversations, routines, or quiet stretches of the day. They’re the moments where you catch yourself thinking something you didn’t expect, seeing something you usually overlook, or understanding something without trying to. They’re the interior shifts that rarely get named but often matter the most.
When you notice your moment, sit with it for a bit. You can write about it, think about it, or simply let it exist. If you want to share it, you can respond in the comments below. If you’d rather keep it private, that’s just as valid. The practice is the noticing, not the performance.
If something surfaces, please share it below.
If you're looking for a place to begin, this piece on The Power of Presence might be a quiet companion to this month's practice.

I caught myself being kind to a stranger and feeling surprised by it. That surprise told me something I’m still sitting with.
